Things We Should Have Known

Sometimes when you look back on lessons you've learned, it's hard to understand how you didn't already know better. Like, when you think about whether or not it is a good idea to drive a really small dump truck on your lawn. I mean, the truck only weighs about 13 tons, and is only carrying about 5 tons of dirt...it'll be fine, right? Oh, well. Sometimes it's hard to laugh at yourself, when you realize that the free dirt you thought you were getting from your neighbors just cost you a whole lot of extra time and money. At least we got to know the neighbors...

P.S. if you live in the Spanish Fork area and ever need a really good tow truck, we had a great experience with Bang Up Towing. They showed up after hours, super quick, and the price was very reasonable.

Oops! Well, there's nothing like the school of hard knocks to make sure you never make that mistake again. :) Don't worry, I've done some dumb things, too. They were doozies, actually!

So what was the project you needed all the dirt for?

That stinks. It's good that you seem to have a good attitude about it.
