My little drummer boy

So, my nephew JD let us have his drums while he is on his mission. Russell loves having them in the basement, and goes down several times a week to play them. And now that Dorian has discovered them, we go down several times a DAY. On a totally unrelated note, we found and killed 3 of these in our garage within a couple of days, several weeks ago. I have been out there working on my refinishing project, so I hope I have scared off any others who were thinking of moving in. Eeeuwgh.

Dorian very, very cute and adorable playing the drums!

Spiders? Not so much.

That kid has musician written all over him. :)

Yikes about the spider! I don't mind them in general, but I don't like those particular ones. Definitely better dead than alive.

Aack! {shudder}

Nice that you got a picture of the red hourglass on the abdomen, so no one can doubt you that it was a real black widow.

{shudder again}.

We had a black widow in our entry way every fall at BYU. They are one of the few things that truly creep me out.

Love the drumming! He has musical genes!

Ugh! Bonnie! Did you really have to post the pic of the spider?
Black widows= ebbie jeebies.
Dorian= warm fuzzies
Let's stick more to warm fuzzies...

Did you know?.... Most all female spiders kill their mates. Strangely only one species gets the bad wrap. That, my friend, is a college education at work!
