What? You don't use 3 spoons?

This is a morning ritual for us. After Dorian eats his banana ("na-na-na"--it was his first real word), I bring him his oatmeal, and he gets one spoon in each hand while I feed him with a third. Sometimes he ends up with all 3 spoons, at which point I just let him play until he starts throwing oatmeal across the room. Then we're done.

I have caught some of my older kids eating cereal with two spoons when they are in a hurry and trying to eat fast. I think that kind of behavior is only okay if you are still in a high chair.

Yep, little boys need 3 spoons! I used to get out plastic ones for my son to hold when all the baby spoons were dirty (which happened a lot). Love the picture!
